Wouldn't suprise me if they held Floor back, her performance on Decipher was fucking great and on After Forever's s/t she was awesome.

I do know that but I thought it was more suitable to compare studio efforts to a studio effort. Her high on the live version of Ghost Love Score hot damn.

@kaparoni
She gets a bit snarly, but she does not growl. The little I've heard from her old band Revamp shows she can do it, but that isn't the case here.
I'm still going to see them this summer. For some reason they work a lot better live than on record.
EDIT: Also, it appears the last paragraph or two of my review mysteriously vanished. I fixed it but that is quite troubling. Is it too long?

Elan and My Walden really sound like they are made by two totally different bands.

I see people calling this band terrible all the time but their rankings are terrific and consistent.
I didn't like these guys since once but I'm going to give this a try

Oceanborn rules but yeah they've gotten progressively worse every album. I'd be surprised if this is good from the single I heard.

I'm 20 minutes in and this album is actually pretty ballin', I expect to like this one lots.

This album represents everything I like/ed about NW(though, i know nobody has given a shite about me bout it. Album's perfect.. give it a little time. I love every NW album, but this one has something magical to it, either is it 'cause I tend to see things very differently than others, or is it Floor, or anything ;) ... either way Love this album. Toumas is a fekkin genius.. The one, who has reviewed this album maybe forgot to write, how this album has SUCH VAST atmosphere as a whole, and thoroughly is a great listen and interpretation of manytimes said topic of our world, planet and species. Positively driven, neither overly bloated as Imaginerium nor inconsistent as DPP, this one has the balance and I personally love it.. shame I can't write a proper review ( my inability) but I'd love to see a different one. Not to say this one's bad.

Album is pretty awesome, not getting the hate at all. My only problem is the lack of killer vocal parts for Marco. No doubt Floor is much better too, can't wait to see this incarnation of the band play soon!

^ yeah thats pretty much the only thing that bugs me too. marco has a great voice. just when he writes their heavyest record in years marco has only minor playtime
