I can’t argue with that. It’s certainly a contender. I would say TDW is more consistently good, while Empire has the best tracks (and some of my favorite AVA songs) like Secret Crowds, Rites of Spring, Call to Arms.

I think I agree with that. This is the only AVA album that's consistent imo (and very consistent at that), but Empire has some of their highest highs. The songs you mentioned are all incredible. And I don't know why nobody ever mentiones Heaven. It's their best song
But The Disease, Mercenaries, Tremors and The Wolfpack are all in my absolute favorites

Ehhh is a pretty accurate response. Not terrible but not very good either. I’m assuming/hoping this will be tied to a much better album. I wasn’t a big fan of Bullets in the Wind, which I believe was The Dream Walker’s lead single, and I love that album.
