I thought Heights was a step down from FWIAT, but I'll get around to hearing this.

This is great. I love me some Cloudkicker-ish style of post rock.

This is very good! But the sound quality sounds a little muddy or compressed... Or is it just me?

More people need to hear this album.

@Voltimand - It has sounded more/less compressed on various audio output for me. Laptop speakers sound the worst, as you'd expect. It actually sounded clearer and less compressed on my Ozone gaming headset than on my Monster noise-cancelling headphones. There is a lot going on (especially on the opener), so I think it takes some time for your ear to open up to it as well.

Good call on this, been looking for something in this genre recently besides Russian Circles.

They really know when to stray the right portions of stuff into their songs.

Yep, had to add this to my Top 10 list. As much as I love Heights, this improves in just the right ways.

Pretty cool album, great mixture of heavy and soft sections.

Checking this now, sounds very interesting. Intro to the first track is indeed heavy.

Idk, probably because stylistically theyre very basic post rock, they dont do anything to stand out from the crowd. They just do it very well.
