This reminds me of a more streamlined version of A Bunny's Caravan.

the ending of 'Again at the Beginning' leading into 'Everything that Always Will Be' is so hella fucking dank

I wish I liked this more but, despite some great moments, I found this a little boring.

good review. I will be checking this out. It was weird to see a song called "Not My Blood" on the tracklist since that is an excellent song by Mansions.

This album is great! Very little bad to say about it, but a few songs sound a tad cheesy at times with the backing vocals. Heavily outweighing it though are songs like 'Low' and 'The Thing that Would Save You'. Amazing tunes.

I don't really think there's a weak song on this, and I honestly can't pick any favourites. right now it's "persist in delusion"
and maybe "at last the loneliest of them", but that's bound to change. I didn't find the backing vocals too cheesy but I wasn't
really
focusing on them

I'm listening now...good from the few songs I have heard so far. Did anyone else notice any similarities in style and melody at times to FSF's "How to Start a Fire"?

The music is so stunning. I'm not the hugest fan of the vocal style, but there's no denying it works for them.

Also, this review is quite good - that opening paragraph might be the best I've seen from you.

My first 2 spins were solid. First half is better than the 2nd half with a few exceptions I think. In some
cases it does tend to run together a little bit or have a similar feel but it is definitely good. I'm still
surprised no one else has said anything about the similarities they have with Further Seems Forever when
Jason Gleason was at the helm. I hear it so, so much at times. That's not a bad thing though - in fact I
always wished they had done more with that lineup. I hear so much from bands of that era though. FSF,
Appleseed Cast, The Beautiful Mistake, etc.
