Saw him last week and he was surprisingly pretty hyper/happy/joking.

not how i expected him to be on stage at all

but during the songs he was full face of disgust eyes rolled into back of head mode m/

I didn't like this album. That makes me sad, because I did like the previous three.

I think I always resisted liking this band on past releases. Kinda clicked with me just before this release. I like Wormwood and DITOM tho

I've liked everything except that first album. Just kinda generic early 2000s metalcore. These guys were one of my gateway bands to "yelling music" so I have a soft spot for them.

I saw 'em on Summer Slaughter in 2007. Fuck, that was a turning point for me. Also, it was a simpler time when metal and hardcore kids fought at shows all the time.

Yeah Wormwood was their turning point, that still might be the best one.

Maybe I'll crank this up to 2,5 after some listens. It just seemed sooo boring, but then again, so did Wormwood in the beginning, later it grew on me.

Id give it a 3.3, the observer is at least worth putting this at a 3.

i'll share my thoughts with u so long as u promise never to call me an 'acacia kid' again

prob 3.0 or 3.5

death is the only mortal was better (dem guitars) but this is better than wormwood i think

I saw half of these songs live before hearing the record so it almost feels underwhelming.

observer and holy walls are top tier acacia jams though

Alright I won't call you that. Holy Walls is cool, I just hate some of the lyrics. Observer is definitely one of their best songs tho. And I think I agree that DITOM is better than Wormwood and this.

Wormwood did have jams. Ramirez, Jonestown, Beast are all top TAS tracks

I also agree about those jams. but ditom had victims of the cave, which was the best acacia song since seaward

this album has none of that goodness

I dig Human Disaster, Cauterizer, and VVorld Demise pretty well off this. Probably my favorites besides Observer.
