I wonder if this is any indication of how the follow-up to TKOL will sound, they are similar

I'm happy that it isn't, A Moon Shaped Pool is the best since IR, though this and The Eraser were enjoyable.

underrated, I would probably rate this higher than something like OK Computer

Got my ticket to see him the Saturday after Thanksgiving in Boston, but the website threw me off due to advertising it as the tour for this album, which was four years ago. Hopefully he'll play stuff from the Suspiria soundtrack he's releasing later this year too. I also rewrote most of this review and raised the score to reflect my current opinion.

yeah this is really great, about on par with anima for me. at this point im equally as excited about new solo material as i would be for a new radiohead album.

felt this way after The Eraser. Was very lukewarm about this one for a very long time and TKOL in contrast was a riveting direction for Radiohead so I was discouraged about Yorke solo stuff for a while. That has completely flipped as ANIMA is absolutely incredible and AMSP is the worst Radiohead release in over two decades.

But since AMSP was almost entirely recycled/old material I feel a bit forgiving as well, if they announced a new album that was actually new stuff I'd be a lot more optimistic.
