Kath was the man. The fact that tracks like Does Anybody Really Know What Time it Is?, Poem 58 and Free Form Guitar are in the same album is pretty impressive.

Sweet bump, I bumped Chicago II today. Such a great band until 1975 at least. The last album they published in 2014 isn't too shabby either surprisingly from what I heard

yup, the first 4-5 albums were awesome, then they started sliding, unfortunetly everybody's first thought is the 80's for them, my wife when we met liked the mid eighties terrible stuff, I played the real CTA for her and was amazed it was the same band

They started getting friendly on Chicago II already but the first time it started to become a real problem is VI. Then surprisingly they recorded VII which is possibly the most experimental record of their career. But after that they changed... quite literally, unfortunately. In a sense they really are another band
