"It's time to set the record straight" is the 1st sentence you hear on Four Year Strong's new EP 'Go Down in History'. And that the Massachusetts quartet do, in reverting back to their pop punk/melodic hardcore roots, following their much-maligned 2011 LP 'In Some Way, Shape or Form'. All of their best traits return, but this time they are bigger & better than ever; the hyperactive energy, the dual and gang vocals, the furious form of melodicism & the fun, fist-pumping sing-alongs. There isn't a bad track amongst these 5 which are certain to win back some doubting fans. Recommended Tracks: Go Down in History, So You're Saying There's a Chance & Tread Lightly.
