I know it's called selling out, haha. Of Mice & Men did that move to the definition with Restoring Force.
I'm not left questioning what happened on this album at all though. They switched to a softer, more accessible sound to get airplay and more money.
I'm not against a band being successful, but it just sucks that the self-titled/flood fanbase has been completely alienated and replaced with droves of screaming 13 year old girls that weren't even born yet when Restoring Force's main influences were at their peak.

Also, if you're a fan of old OM&M, catch them live while it's still worth it. Admittedly, they put on one hell of a show.
but they already split their setlists in half between songs from the flood and restoring force; and of course one from the reissue, and one from the s/t (second and sebring)... when these guys put out their next album, the reissue and past material will be a distant memory
