Saw them live a week ago, they were pretty good

To my surprise it's their first album since comalies that i enjoy from start to finish. Nothing spectacular but a fun listen.

Best album since Comalies. They finally embraced some of the sound they had in the past. Some songs could be straight from UM or In a Reverie! The production is also better than on the last 3 albums. The 3 songs they have released prior to the album are actually my least favourite. Great album, that just gets better with every listen. Also the album closer is epic!

Band has been overrated from day one.

Band is acceptable and have a bunch of enjoyable tunes but nothing more. Besides, there are female fronted metal acts which are far, far better. Nightwish, Epica, Therion, Theatre of Tragedy, The Gathering and After Forever destroy lacuna coil

Can't wait to 1.5 this....

The fact that it can't reach UM standards should be obvious, yes.

The singles and pre-released songs are by far the weakest songs on this record.



I actually enjoy Andrea's voice on 'Victims'.

The intro to Victims sounds like a poor man's Katatonia... kinda goes downhill from there though

It sounds like Cristina is trying too hard to emulate Sandra Nasic in "Victims".

Nasic is a way more versatile vocalist, she can sound both aggressive and mellow to great success, while Christina can well... sing. and that's that
