Thanks sitar! I think my sound awake review and my first couple reviews are bad but still thanks!
A 4 for me says that I love the record as a whole but there are notable flaws worth mentioning and
some songs I may not like. Still a very high score though

KILL making serious comments that are longer than a sequence? Here's some Porcupine Tree magic.
The review got me pretty intrigued, it's one of those bands I just can't get into, but I think I'm gonna check out this album. Have yet another pos.

The staff review for this actually mentions that the cover speaks for itself. Like the woman held by the puppet strings, we are the puppets in this experience.

Great, well-written review. My only minor gripe is that because you've gone through the PT discog
backwards, your expectations of the album were sort of backwards chronologically, if you know what I
mean, and it kinda shows in the first paragraph. Like, you talk about how this sounds so different
from the releases that followed because of it's atmospheric focus, but looking at it chronologically,
the atmospheric focus was the norm for the band at the time. I dont know if any of this is making
sense
Then again, most people will probably have heard the later stuff first so that paragraph works in that
way. But yeah good review, awesome album. This and Lightbulb are the best PT for me.

I know what you mean, but I've been told that it's best to work backwards by lots of people so that's what I did. If it's any consolation I did say that the band always had some atmosphere in it. And most people actually only heard their newer stuff I've found so the approach works imo
But Thanks man!

"most people actually only heard their newer stuff I've found so the approach works imo"
yeah, this is true. more people would start with the new stuff than the old so it makes sense to look at it from that angle for a review.
no problem. you fire out reviews like crazy, would be cool to see you upped to contrib soon

Haha do I have to get reccommended or some shit? Not that I aspire to be staff or anything I just do it to practice and I wanna make a living out of it somehow. I try to post once a week I think that's enough.

Mongi id like to see your opinion on Sky Moves Sideways. Also review some Dev in the meantime if you
need new muzaks. Ocean Machine, Terria, Synchestra etc will be right up your alley I think
