But eh, you do address the album in paragraph two now that I mention it. That's better =]

Hmm I do have this tendency to write like two sentences about my problems with it in one paragraph and then two things I liked about it in another. Not sure why I keep doing it that way haha but I'll try to add a little more substance about the album.

It's natural to fall into patterns. As long as you're aware of that, you'll be able to address that as you see fit.

I noticed the same with my writing, which is why I've been tinkering with it lately

cool, I'll try to tinker with my own as well so I don't sound so repetitive.

Not a fan of Drew's vocals. Only good thing about this album are the guest vocalists. Like you said, Make Your Own History is by far their best. Good review. Bad album.

Agree that the guest vocals rule (even when the lyrics are so bad)

The lyrics were a bit better on MYOH tho

I thought you based your username on the band Deadguy, but it seems you didn't rate them

Go check them out, maybe you'll dig it

Excellent album, really furious and at times the guitar work for me is a little "disturbing". Not sure if this is their best album as it's the only one I've listened to by them, so I'll be sure to get others if recommended. Personal highlights for me would be 'Radio', 'Slice of life' and 'Tell me I'm not home'.

If you want to hear a better version

Of this album, listen to Make Your Own

History and Rising Sun and Villains.

If you want to hear experimental grind, listen to their albums before those

There are actually a lot of cool riffs here, but the songs don't hold up overall. Like, Badge & A Bullet is terrible, but the riffs from it still get stuck in my head.

Exactly how I feel man. It doesn't help that Drew sounds horrible on this when he sounded great on the past two records.
