Listening to it at the moment. Reminds me of Captain Beyond at some point. Great stuff.

How can you not love a song about an ice cream cone?

^You've taken that from the English lyrics' album or I assume you're Italian.

You can safely assume the latter.

Song is obviously Cono di Gelato, but the translation can only be found in Italian. It even happens that I struggle with my English too, tbh ;)

Yep, literally 'ice cream cone'. The best versions are arguably the ones that feature "Cono Di Gelato" and "Il Fischio Del Vapore" as bonus for a total of 8 tracks. Personally I prefer the original lyrics too, "C'รจ Un Paese Al Mondo" ("there's a country in the world") as a title has already far more charm to me than its english counterpart "Life Can Be Like Music".

Yeah, the original titles have to sound better, cos Italian is their native language, and the traduction is often made by a third person.

Indeed the lyrics have been translated by an external person, and they have been changed to adapt a different language to the melodies. Would have been cool to not change them so much though.
