Having a new bass player and drummer really stepped up the energy on this record. Ryan's solos are
better than ever, seriously, the solos on this are amazing. Trevor kills it lyrically and vocally, as
always. I might have to raise my rating.

Good review, very fun album. I do agree about the vocals though, his highs do tend to become a little overwhelming, and it seems like he tries too hard to be a constant presence. Sometimes he just needs to step back and let the music be the focus, but outside of the solos he doesn't do that. I really enjoy his lower range though.

This was a 3.5 for me till the 2nd listen.
Then I stopped to appreciate how nice this album sounded. I'd rank it alongside Ritual, but with slightly better instrumentals.
