Good to hear an early opinion. I lost faith in Leto and 30 Seconds to Mars after listening to This Is War and discovering that every song on the album has some stupid choir singing in the background.

I think they peaked with their first album. It'd be great to hear another heavy song like "End of the Beginning" or "Edge of the Earth." According to the review, it doesn't sound like anything like that is on this album.

I agree with that so much, their first album was phenomenal and the second one was great too. But yeah, there's nothing approaching heavy here really, although I would recommend at least listening to Pyres of Varanasi at least if you can find it. As I said in the review, I've pretty much given up on them now.
