It was Kiss From a Rose. Heard it while watching Community actually, and this time I googled it to see what it was. Might check out the whole album based on it, pretty strong track.

His first couple of albums are his best, they're all at least 4 material imo, 4.5 if you're really feeling it. As for this one right here, check out 'Crazy', one of his lead singles from this, so good.

This whole album is immense. Perfect house music combined with R&B but even that doesn't begin to describe it.

Right now I am just going thru a greatest hits to get a feel for his music aside from the songs I have always known, Kissed by a Rose and Fly Like an Eagle, but I think I will eventually listen to his first three albums, at least.
