Seen future of the left live a few times, so that might be why, they were sooooooo good and I love those albums. Plus Chapple from this band is a dick.

at first I dismissed this as sort of a nothing debut but it's actually pretty fun

A lot of this is just a gram too "lol look at how tongue in cheek we are" to me, so the last two (Medium... and World Cup Drumming) really surprised me with their sincerity. Frankly they elevated this from a very uneven novelty album.
