Have yet to listen to the album fully, but I'm actually really diggin' the singles.

Shocked you didn't compare Joel to the great Dan Smith, though, seeing as his style of performing and the song "The Sea Always Seems to Put Me at Ease" are ripped right out of Listener's book.

Love their style of documenting live shows and updates, though. I'm a sucker for the hipster approach of hardcore, lulz.

When you go acoustic the #1 no no is to still do the metal screams, it sounds terrible and awkward. If you do screaming it has to be like Against Me!

taxidermist, if you look at their studio updates and the way they promote themselves on various social sites, you'll see what i'm talking about. Much like a hope for home. Love both bands.

And as one of those people that actually enjoys it, I think it's an interesting way of doing a live performance. It's raw, intense, passionate. Obviously you'd have to be into that type of poetry though.

He rips hard off of Listener. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tzj6YHxr2xg

When does Balance and Composure ever do spoken work? Unless you're relating the melodies to them otherwise, might wanna stop making inaccurate relations to better bands like Defeater. Otherwise I liked this review/album.

I actually didn't find any in the music, but in the way it was portrayed in their music videos where the frontman tries to be Listener..
