"Dreamflight

I am truly shocked that someone exists who thinks Unia and the The Days of Grays are Sonata Arctica's best albums."

ohh, those are the albums that made SA stop being a generic power metal band.

Losing My Insanity, Somewhere Close to You, and Cinderblox are pretty enjoyable.

Awesome review Fictional. This album really needed a review, and this review was much better than what

I could do with it.

If you're into power metal, or at least tolerate it in any sense, then try to avoid this.

When will people learn that they aren't power metal anymore and haven't been for almost a decade?

Review's not bad but your ramble too much about how they "copy" Stratovarius' sound when this does not

sound like it at all.

Yea, maybe I was being too harsh on them. Silence and WG are great albums, and Ecliptica has Fullmoon and Replica, which rule.

Yet I still stand for their lack of orginallity back then. There's too much Strato influences to deny it.

Oh no there is definitely Strato influences on their first few albums, but they haven't been a power metal band in so long that they lost those influences.

Since when did being a power band given them credibility?

" but they haven't been a power metal band in so long that they lost those influences."

Yea I agree with that, and that's the reason why I preffer Unia and TDOG. Even Reckoning Night and WG already had some non-power metal stuff like "the boy", "Gravenimage" or "broken".

Actually Firewind is the best power metal band out there. If you disagree, go die in a hole.

It's quite a fun album to listen to really.

Not too happy with their simplistic approach this time around, but it's very solid all around for me.
