I always felt that on this one they further improved some elements that can be found on FttR but as always, to each his own dude.

I agree with manosg. Fly to the Rainbow is excellent but this is where it all came together. This and Taken By Force are the definitive Roth-era albums for me.

Lovedrive used to be my favorite. It has a sentimental value too as it was the album that got me into Scorpions. At the moment, I would say it goes for me In Trance>TBF>Lovedrive but I love all three.

This might be slightly more consistent than Taken By Force but the highlights on that album are slightly superior to the highlights on here imo.

I find this impressive enough to say that this most likely the best scorpions album in the 70's era the song In Trance itself is real good among a few others on this one as well.
