2.5 = average
Average now = painfully boring?

The great thing about the 2.5 rating is how diverse its meaning can be. : )

I probably won't look into this any further, but after reading your review Fireflight is now on my radar. Thanks!

The Healing of Harms: vague and cheesy lyrics and repetitive sound
Unbreakable: vague and cheesy lyrics and repetitive sound (but harder!)
For Those Who Wait: vague and cheesy lyrics and varied sound (finally!)
Now: vague and cheesy lyrics and TRYING WAY TOO HARD
I loved "Stay Close", but was instantly annoyed when I heard "Ignite" and that didn't really help me through the rest of the album.

I had higher hopes for this album. So far, this has been a disappointing 2012 for Christian music altogether. Hopefully Demon Hunter and TFK will represent.

I'm just really looking forward to two of my favorite band's new albums. I'm confident DH won't disappoint (my expectations) and as long as this album matches the quality of their last one, I'll be satisfied with TFK's as well. At least they should both be better than Fireflight and Kutless's new albums

How about you listen to good music instead?

Or I can listen to what I enjoy instead of liking what other people like. Neither of them are mainstream, nor comparable in any way to Nickelback. I enjoy them both a lot more than Nickelback, btw.

Oh, God. Kutless released another album?

DH kicks butt man, one of my favorite bands. And yes, Kutless did. They solidified their change from Christian Rock to Christian Contemporary/Worship. They aren't bad at it, but it snubs old fans (like me).
