because nickelback just don't seem to get it, unlike the guy who sussed them in 2011 for 'coming across as contrived' and making music for the masses instead of art's sake

Also, I never implied that they should be opting for something 'artistic', but rather something honest that isn't shoved down our throats, and certainly something that isn't misogynistic with odes to alcoholism and blowjobs in some low-class bar scene.

Nah, Kroeger said it best himself in a recent video interview: “We don’t take ourselves seriously, at all”.

However, this time around Nickelback focus on themes so abstruse, with messages so inescapably offensive, that they beg the question: Are they being serious?

no one is going to read this much about nickelback. I just read the summary and opening and closing sentences cause that's all I ever do and:



"normality is death." seems a bit melodramatic don't you think?
