Just downloaded this, wasn't really my thing upon first listen but then again neither was the new Thrice record, then I downloaded that and now I love it to death.

Puzzles, this definitely grows on you, so give it every chance.
cbd, that actually was my initial scepticism with this album. The EPs were indeed easy to absorb, while this LP took its time more.

No, her voice is fine. But, the record seemed to be very heavy on ambiance and I didn't really dig that. I may give this another spin (or at least try to). Endless Summer is a good song for sure.

When compared to their EPs, it's definitely heavy on the ambience Greg. Umm, have you tried their debut EP, which isn't? It might prove an entry point, because I do admit that was the only release of theirs which I loved immediately.

Yes, I am pretty sure you would Ali. There's enough going on, while it's also (for want of a better word) catchy in places.
