Downloaded this and plugged in my iPod to copy it over and fucking iTunes froze. Gonna have to listen to it a few times tomorrow.

to be honest I'm really looking forward to that bluegrass album he promised

Didn't know he planned on doing a bluegrass album. I'd be pretty excited to hear that, actually.

Hawks I think your iTunes has had enough of bm in its library.

that's the point i was making, he was subtle about it, which i found far more satisfying
i realize this, that is why comment was to get the point across that i obviously found it far more satisfying with him taking the opposite approach

that's pretty obvious with the review, Spirit

Alright, that second track was even less interesting than the first...
Hoping the Panopticon side is enjoyable.

maybe i'm the only one that wanted him to go in that direction?

There's enough bands out there now trying to be My Bloody Inverted Valentine/Godspeed You! Black Metal Emperor. A little restraint goes a long way in separating you from the pack.

Wow, last Panopticon track is pretty solid. Really took me by surprise after four decent to average tracks.

same here. loved the Mammon interview.

thanks a lot guys, glad you liked it
i'm about to begin the second one, it will be better constructed - more reviews, maybe a few different types of articles, and i've even got some comic strips on the way. need to work on my interviewing style too so it's not so straightforward (boring)

I liked how laid-back and informal the interviews were and really liked that you asked their five favorite albums. Very enjoyable to read through.

yeah the 5 favourite albums thing is definitely overused, but it's always good. i like to read about what other people listen to, so i assumed others would too. im thinking in newer interviews i might ask their opinions on certain albums which i believe to be relevant to their style of music or something. could work out.

yeah there was a pretty eclectic mix of stuff through all the bands and even within bands, good to see though

I say go for it. I've always enjoyed reading about what bands have to say about up-and-coming acts within certain scenes.

Panopticon's next album is titled "Social Disservices" and is supposed to be his most "black metal" release, with only about two minutes total of "calm" sections throughout the entire record. "Kentucky" is going to be his mostly folk record, but I believe it's supposed to still have black metal to it. Like Collapse, only more folky. He's also working on Collapse pt. 2.

Still have to listen to this. When I downloaded it and put it on my ipod when I go to listen to it it just skips through all the songs then goes back to the menu fuckin pissed
Happened to me before, it'll be itunes not the downloaded files. Sometimes happens if you try to drag files to upload onto you ipod while it's in the middle of syncing
