good review. but i wasn't quite as impressed the first time i heard this.
|
| |
To be fair, it's not THAT impressive the first time. Subtleties work that way.
|
| |
so is this music for the elite?
|
| |
and the chug-riff dichotomy never drags on long enough without shifting to become monotonous.
I think you are trying to say it avoids monotony; overall though very good review.

| |
Oops, yeah I meant to word it slightly differently. Good catch, thanks!

Stumbled upon the title track weeks ago on YouTube.
Basically, I thought I was listening to about 50 other bands I've heard before.
Pass.

YESSSSSSSS Staff Reviewer approval. I feel so validated right now.
That being said, this is really very similar to ABR. Which in my book is a good thing.

check out that link i left you in your shoutbox

It was alright. They seem to pull from a few scene-kid bands that I'm not as much a fan of.
|
| |
same here. they're nice dudes though. i think that if they branch out a bit (and stop hanging around the dudes in Submissioner and Sovereign Strength so much) they could do something good.
|
| |
Maybe add some EPIC FUCKIN' MELODIES! m/
You gonna see The Carrier btw?
|
| |
on june 3rd at the brobalt? i cant. im gonna be playing some fest with Dance Gavin Dance and A Day to Remember in central california. but you should definitely go to that. one of the opening bands is Harbours from oxnard (not to be confused with Harbours from the UK) and they are great live. i played with them last night.

Sounds cool, cheers.
Have fun playing with ADTR, lulz.

|

I doubt they're going to stay the same on a full-length. But we shall see, my man. We shall see.

Yeah this CD is awesome. The monotonous vocals get old, but the musicianship is top-notch.
