An Easy Life is a fun little track that will unfortunately get ignored, but I really enjoy the raw energy of the title track

Following a solid – if not overly memorable – debut LP, the duo of Danger Mouse & James Mercer return as Broken Bells for the 'Meyrin Fields' EP. Despite these 4 tracks being off-cuts from the album, they hold up well, with more of the act's interestingly constructed melodies. With greater emphasis on electronica, these tunes aren't as serene as those off the LP, but also aren't as catchy. It's difficult to tell whether there will be a change in future direction from just 12 minutes worth, but the existence of 'Meyrin Fields' suggests that the duo will not be a one release wonder as was initially thought. Recommended Tracks: Windows & Meyrin Fields.
