you got this one in your summary: ("hey, rocklists!...")...the creeps who choose to dwell on what's wrong with this record (NME, i mean you) are like the kids who sit home and dis the ones who are at the party having fun...that's okay, nobody invited them anyway!...so while we're here dancing and having fun they can stay away and be miserable...

A very useful album when somebody grab's you in the street shoves a sharp knife into your left testicle and demands you produce a new Joy Division record in 15 seconds or become uno nut.

Not sure about this sounding like the new raveonettes, I found that to be a horribly disappointing fuzz smog.

Impressive review. Could use with a bit more details on what these guys sound like, but that's just me being nit-picky.

Can I admit to something Conrad? You're one of the writers whose style I admire the most on this site. You're in a very short list which includes people like thebhoy and some of Phlebas' works. It's very exclusive. So yeah. For what it's worth - well done.

not really my cup of tea.

they never really seem to find their sound. to me when listening to an album or a band i shouldn't be sitting there thinking.... ahh this sounds like the smashing pumpkins if they where an indie band...... *next song* ahh now this sounds like a 90's pop style Girls LP, this song dude told me was gonna be a narcotic burst..... ahhhh its a Weezer surfin song with out the stand out vocals and lyrics about surfin =[

ill keep listening to it since i'm still not really sure what they are being honest about.

but i did enjoy the read especially the first paragraph.

This really reminds me of The Cure. Voice is a bit-too cutesy-wootsy for my taste, but good vibe to the album. The distortion on the guitars is quite pleasant.
