I was gonna say that this could've been a landmark moment for you.

The pre-Enema blink is way better! Don't get me wrong I bought this album and actually do still enjoy it. My vote for best song goes to Carousel. Great piont on the diff between mark and tom, that may just well be why blink is done. They will always be remembered in pop-punk. This album brought blink to the world, the world of 12 year old little boys facinated with boobs! After enema blink started to go commercial. They played more "radio friendly" music.
Although it must be said they are not the only band, there is worse, like Offspring. I stopped listening to Offspring when they released 'pretty fly'. All i can say is wtf went wrong. Anyway awesum review man.

Your face entirely sucks, M.O's review was quite good, however. I'm not a big fan of this albumThis Message Edited On 06.17.06

Very good review, of course
I liked how he pointed out that on Adam's Song, the lyrics arent entirely hardcore "God hates me Im gonna cut myself" emo lyrics.
I used to say this was my favorite Blink album, but Ive come to like Dude Ranch better. I still like this album a lot though.

this album brings back memories. at nine years old, this was the first CD i ever got, followed by some NOW cd, and the Marshall Mathers LP. i remember listening to this practically everyday when i went over to my neighboors house to swim.
that has got to be one of the best reviews ive ever read. i like the humorous way it was done but it still gave information. nice

Very good review. You're spot on about the difference between Mark and Tom writing songs...it's obvious, but very well explained. I don't dislike this as much as I dislike other Blink albums, but it's still not really any good. Far better pop-punk out there.

I know Blink 182 doesn't receive much praise from the much more fanatic listeners of Punk, mainly on the fact that they are Pop. I completely understand. I spent a great majority of life listening to predominately Rap and Hip Hop, and it drives me crazy listening to almost anything that's mainstream (rotating on MTV, MTV2 and BET every hour).
Blink is extremely upbeat and lively, and I love it. I get bursts of happiness before fading out into boredom once I am done listening. Travis is my favorite drummer. In fact, he is one of my biggest inspirations for my own drumming. I consider myself extremely mature and I haven't been really offended or bothered by Blink's immaturity one bit. In fact, I believe that they have been the best at capturing my emotions during parts of adolescence and young adulthood. However, these parts are not on the album, so I will agree with you there. I would say that Going Away to College and Adam's Song are my favorite on the album, though What's My Age Again is just too classical and deserves honorable mention.
I would just have to say that I can agree with some of the points made in the "official" review of Enema of the State, but in all honesty it sounds like it is coming from my Dad. Do you have to be SO harsh on a little bit of immaturity and teenage hormones? This Message Edited On 06.20.06

this is the best blink album in th world adn you cant dispute it and excuse me but immature songs are the best, im a huge fan of nerf herder, maybe that has something to do with it, and every song is better than the whole greatest hits album put together, this is the greatest hits album, "incogneto" that just my opinion

Wow, I never would have gussed that writing a 3.5 (Which is a positive score) Blink review would lead to a fanboy attack saying I'm the dipshit for not showering it with praise.

Hmmm....I hope none of those people find my review of Chesire Cat. I only gave it a 3.

Call me stupid... but I cannot relate the lyrics in "All the Small Things" to a small wiener.

This album is f***ing trash. My sister's discovery of this band has rekindled my hatred for this god forsaken @$$ product. Good review.

That's cause "All the small things" isn't about a small weiner.
