The silence is him trying his very hardest to find something that irks him.

"The irony of his simplicity and repetition sounding so relaxing and being able to place listeners into such a state of self-reflection it's ridiculous."

What.

Have you ever listened to Stars of the Lid and been like all intense and deep in thought? I find it odd that something so simple can do that.

He's saying that it's ironic that something so simple and repetitive can be so beautiful and evoke so much emotion

I dont think i like you either but mostly because i dont like 13 year olds in general, this was well
written and im glad you wrote about it. I kind of want to pick one of these up which one do you think
is the best?

Well everyone seems to get all four in a bunch but most people are acclimated to like d|p 4 the best, if only for the song "d|p 6"

in fact, all of the moments on Basinski's Loops - is simply stunning.

Change "is" to "are", and mention James Blake more

Your summary is a tad idiotic as well

"yeah that kinda confused me too i don't think i've ever really talked with tmobo but whatever"

Well that's kind of my point, I have nothing against you personally, I just think most 13 year olds are awkwardly pubescent and annoying.

But my complimenting your review was supposed to be me saying, "Maybe you're not so bad". It was actually supposed to be somewhat nice to be honest.

Downloaded this and heard it yesterday. I actually enjoyed it despite the first song being a damned hour long. Dat ambient sound, meng.

Album Rating: 3.0 | Sound Off

i like your review even though i don't like the album as much as you do. i think even though the melody is pretty and the disintegrating creates some sort of grand concept to appreciate, like life, its also just way...too...long...and...boring...and...repetitive...kind...of...like...this...the...way...i'm...typing. i think you have to be really bored and metitating and thinking about life and stuff to actually enjoy this. or you can leave it in the background but there is still better background music out there in my opinion.

but, i checked out the 2nd part and i must say i like it alot better because its two different songs and each half an hour instead of an hour. i also think the way they disintegrate in the 2nd part is prettier.

based on my thoughts do you think i would enjoy parts 3 and 4?? and how long does it take for this to grow on you completely??
