^Camel is one of Akerfeldts favorite bands and the influence shows.

Yay for more Camel love and good picks for Rec. tracks.

I have/love their first four, what else is good?

I've got Mirage, Moonmadness, and The Snow Goose. So I guess I should check this out at some point.

Kudos are in order for you Nagrarok.

I've been lurking the camel discography for ages at my major local record store but didn't know where to start...

Ī¤heir entire discography remains untouched for ages at the local music store i mentioned earlier...

Also in the Hellenic Metal Hammer there's this senior staff editor that continuously writes articles about the high quality of this band.

Nagrarok are you going to review the whole Camel discography?

I hear that Rajaz is.

I've got Mirage, Moonmadness, and The Snow Goose. So I guess I should check this out at some point.

Those albums sort of belong together, classic line-up and sound and all that, so definitely listen to this.

As you can read in the review, this is a great place, no doubt. Chronologically isn't always the best way to move through a discography, but listening to Camel's first four in order is the perfect introduction.

Nagrarok are you going to review the whole Camel discography?

As you could read in my first comment: no. I'm going up to Moonmadness, but knowing me, I could return to the discog at some point.

Thanks guys, usually I don't get comments from so many different users.

Camel are highly influential

Maiden's sound bares many Camel elements

The Snow Goose is great but I do prefer my Camel with some vocals.

I agree completely, but I do like the other three better since the singing just fits the mood so well with everything else.

I couldn't disagree, even if I'm not a fan of Latimer's voice but you're right, it manages to fit nonetheless. The man is a god on guitar though.
