I gave it a 3.5 because the album is well-done, and it IS good music. The review was just holding the band up to higher standards, because of their prior work; overall, I do believe that the album is a 3.5.

That's interesting. I'm just a Vheissu spokesperson, I suppose. I love how the songs mesh together so well, and I enjoy the entire CD quite a bit too. It's a wonder they could get songs with so many different styles to blend together so well.

I definitely think that this is their most solid overall album though. It doesn't have complete standouts like Vheissu or The Alchemy Indexes but all 10 songs are pretty damn good.
