Hm...that's a good idea about the avatar, maybe I should've made James LaBrie my avatar. Hahahahaha

I mostly pick the most important member. I'd go for Petrucci.
|

Yeah, I was joking. I would pick Petrucci (or maybe Portnoy) if I really did that. It would just be amusing to see the reaction to LaBrie as an avatar.

It would probably NOT be good. And I obviously knew you were joking. The hahahaha gave it away.
Petrucci and Portnoy are easily the most important members, but I think Petrucci has just a little more influence on their sound than Portnoy.

Yes, I agree with that.

Love this album, I don't know about you guys, but I can more than definitely see differences between Muse and Radiohead, and I love both of them equally as much. For anyone wondering what their 7th album may sound like, Muse said they may go back to their original rocky-ish sound rather do more electronic stuff, even though I don't find anything wrong with the electronic stuff at all.

I've just been listening to this now it really is an excellent album. The title track is an absolute masterpiece of a song that builds on itself with just three people.
I've never personally understood the Radiohead comparisons even here. The only song that seems to take from their song writing style here is Overdue. In general I'd say it's more Nirvana/Jeff Buckley influenced.
