Wow. The title track is pretty orgasmic.

Yeah is this coming out with harrison on drums? Because I reallllly want to hear him play on hatesong. His rendition on the DVD on drums is so fucking ridiculously amazing.

^ No, Although it is a remaster, Gavin isn't playing on this. Chris Maitland is really an excellent drummer too, some of his best moments with PT are found here.
As for the album, it's just gorgeous. Like all PT albums it has a different sound, but this one is special. I really like the warm and organic sound on this, especially the title track and 'Four Chords That Made a Million'. The songs are rather poppy, with the exception of the experimental 'Hatesong' and 13-minute epic 'Russia on Ice'. 'Shesmovedon', 'Last Chance...' and 'Where We Would Be' are also fantastic.

Album isn't as awesome as i wanted it to be, but still pretty good. Russia on Ice is an amazing song though, one of the best ive heard in a while. Hatesong anf the title track rule also. Feel so low is a real downer.

One of my fav tracks on this is feel so low, its so powerful and just ends the album perfectly

I totally agree with the above message..."Last Chance To Evacuate Planet Earth Before It Is Recycled" could have jammed on for another 20 minutes...great vibe.

Didnt feel it was as strong as every album since this honestly. Has a few killer tracks on it but I found it a little boring comparatively.
The killer tracks (Lightbulb Sun, Hatesong, Four Chords) are great songs though, but I found Russia a bit slow to get into! I dont mind that kind of song length and I was pumped when I saw how long it was first time but it just doesnt do it for me like it seems to do it for others here.

This is really growing on me. May be bumping it up to 4.5

i thought this album was fantastic. I thought Feel So Low, was rated WAY too low, that's one of the best songs PT has, it doesn't quite add up to Sleep Together, Lazarus, and certainly not as good as Rest Will Flow (the best song ever written period) but it deserves way better than a 2.5/5. At least a 4.

Amazing album that shows Steven does not only have producing talent, but can write mean songs with hooking melodies and beautiful background vocals that'll give any other 4 chord pop-rock album run for it's money. What gets me the most with this album is the perceived honesty on the delivery. It really does seem Steven means what he sings about, personal and emotional unlike the latter albums "MTV bad" -dogma. Even "4 chords that made a million" manages to come through ironic enough... Why didn't he just leave the rant right there and move on.

Man this album brings nostalgia. Porcupine Tree was one of my first tastes of progressive rock and I've always loved them.

Last Chance to Evacuate is a great song, instrumental reminds me of something from Zeppelin 3 just a bit, with a tad of Beatles but not... Love it..
It took me a bit to notice, but this is such a good album.

Last Chance to Evacuate is prob my favorite on this, although I love Hatesong too
