But Demon Hunter being Christian doesn't make this better/worse.... if there was no religious bullshit involved the music would be just as uninspired and just as boring.

Does it matter? Last time I checked, music was something meant to express the musician's thoughts and creativity. I didn't know that it mattered what the lyrics were about.
I also didn't know that only faggots enjoyed this stuff. So I'm sorry if my faggotry annoys the trve metalheads here.
And for other talented Christian bands? Yeah, I know a lot are really generic, especially on Solid State, but there actually are some good ones. Try Becoming the Archetype, Mortal Treason, Antestor, A Thousand Times Repent, etc.
