I think that this is a good album. From my point of view this band keeps evolving and changing but still you can find all the usual aspects of earlier Bork music. I don`t understand people who wants from their fave band to rewrite some of their earlier albums. And the vocals are very good, Bork always had good vocalists.

Don't really think this deserves the hate at all. It's nothing amazing, but it's a good album.

I'm fairly new to this band, but I think this album is pretty good. I like this more than pure black metal and My Domain is a godly song.

Listen to all of their albums except Quintessence. You could even check that one out too if you want, but it's not nearly as good as the others.

Their first album is just so "omg" good, you're gonna need to get it first.

Just a warning ahead of time: it's NOTHING like this.

This is the first time I've ever heard Broknagar but according to reviews this is not the best album
to start with...I really like it though and I will probably rate it higher as soon as I have listened
to it more.

Which album should I listen to first for the best experience with this band?

In preparation for the new release, I went back through their entire discography and this one isn't nearly as bad as I remember without the sting of it being their newest release. It's still a little too all over the place and neutered compared to their other stuff (before and after), but it's still good.

nice dude, I don't know if I've ever really sat down with this one and experienced it from start to finish. I remember checking it out and I wasn't feeling it at the time. I'm currently re-listening to Empiricism. It's my favorite record of theirs, and still rules in 2019
