Yeah I know you are a first person guy but you just have to practice and third will come. Instead of replacing the pronoun you might just try to want to rewrite or restructure the sentence. Worst comes to worst, simply replacing 'I' with 'listeners' will usually suffice.
Just trying to give some pointers since it seems like you are getting some early releases and are in contact with labels. The whole avoiding first person is a pretty big thing to do with professionally sound (or straight up professional) reviewing as far as most editors are concerned.

Review does read a bit awkwardly, but it still is a good enough review..
I tend to agree with some points, and disagree heavily on others. I love Friends are friends for
Never. But I feel the most focused and well rounded song that this CD produced was You'll Never
leave Vegas Alive. It's got a much better sound to it, and it's a throwback to their old
material..With some Chrous-like singing near the Ending and a massively engaging and dare I say it
Unique Breakdown, the only down-side to this particular break down is the length..almost a minute
last time I checked. but beyond the length, it's got a killer guitar line, and some pretty nice drum
beats.
but still, decent review, for a pretty decent album mang
edit: I find this to be classified a little better as Metalcore, Because they have pretty much
Jumped away from the Sing/Scream verse/Chorus/Verse/Chorus of the Post-hardcore. And as far as ANY
metalcore goes, Hearing the bassist in almost every song without too much power struggle (and the
bass is pretty basic but it's decipherable) is a Mad mad mad madddd Plus in my books (Most likely
because I am a bassist?)

ToWhatEnd, I see what you're saying. I'll see if i can stick to 1st person only in first and last paragraphs next review.
Pink, I had knowledge of the single before any announcement and was told to try to push it. Plus it's my fav track off the album.

@Mordecai.: That's exactly what I think of every time I see the album artwork.. too bad I hated Bioshock.
I liked this album, it's almost exactly what I wanted from them. It's lacking in lead guitar riffs, the songs often sound too similar, and there's a little too much unnecessary chugging, but I'll enjoy it for what it is. I'd prefer they take a step in this direction and stumble a little than go back to their older stuff ;

I agree..the album is so relentless and fun it's ridiculous. I just really hate that they didn't work harder to bring more melody in, would have made the CD so perfect.
and owch his voice got annoying?, i'd say that it was the whole reason this CD stayed out of the water. the layering was perfect, so much dual vocalization. Never thought I'd love ryans voice as much as I do these days

Yeah as mediocre as the band might be, he's definitely in my top 10 favorite vocalists.

I loved his vocals in Young Man, but here it was a bit much.
