Lisa Mitchell – child-like voice and all - continues to surprise as she improves once more & somehow holds interest over the course of her debut full-length release. Excellent song-writing & sufficient variety are the keys here, with singles ‘Coin Laundry’ & ‘Oh Hark’ joining EP holdover ‘Neapolitan Dreams’ as the highlight tracks. ‘Wonder’ is still probably 2 tracks too long as Mitchell’s voice predictably begins to grate towards the end, but this is ultimately still a great album that is well worth a listen.
