i happened to be in fye yesterday and saw it there. so i just said 'fuck it' and picked it up.

now, i knew this cd was gonna be good, but it completely surpassed ALL of my expectations. i simply cant believe how good this is.

definately the heaviest album done by despised icon, and the best thing that's been released in the deathcore genre since...i dont even know how long.

and yeah there are a couple songs in french, which is ok since theyre french canadian. the language doesnt make it any less brutal.

MVP I think was the song...it had the worst breakdown I've ever heard, ever.

Yeah, the breakdown at 2:15 through the rest of the song is horrible. Which is really sad, considering it was a decent song up to that point.

Edit: So yeah, these one-note breakdowns and general one-note parts are not good. The breakdowns with much needed double-bass work are pretty decent, but the ones that lack significant double-bass action are lacking in quality.

I enjoyed the album, but it seemed a little to reliant on breakdowns, but I just saw them live for the Day of mourning tour, and was not disappointed.

Note: I don't hate breakdowns like everyone else, but there is a line of too much sometimes.

Also new bassist is a very good addition, i watched him most of the show there is so much tapping and plays everything with no pick at the pace of everything else. impressive.

I think it would be hard to top "Ills". But the lack of annoying pigging has grabbed my attention. I'll more than likely download this.

Review is eh, ok... the album is DI's best one yet.... breakdowns are classic, and the drumming is definitely legendary, as a poster already said

yeah this band isnt scene at all.

they dont wear tight pants, and have stupidly styled hair.

their 2 singers happen to dress like wiggers, but whatever.

the rest of the band doesnt even look like theyre trying to follow any trend, which is good.
