Why are the last two songs so incredibly longggg
| |

| |
This better be balls droppin' good.
EDIT: PhantomLimb, Ya La Tengo, means I've got her, not it.
| |
ceiling cat is watchin you bate

ugh i love this band. this is really really good, but i've always preffered their 'by two's' type tracks to their 'nothing to hide's. awesome stuff throughout anyway.

Yo La Tengo is Spanish for "I've Got It" making fun of the 60's Mets I've read before? (An old Mexican outfielder made this call or something of the sorts) either way, I need this disc
| |
the production on this is so crisp
| |
Have not heard ONE song from this band. Give me a song to win me over, choose wisely.
| |
aww but theyve got so many sides
what do you like? my favorite song by them is shoegazer 'deeper into movies' off of I can Hear the Heart, but theyve got space-rock, acoustic, everything basically
| |
Seriously? I love a band that can switch it up, and do it well...alright I'll try a space-rock song.
| |
can't wait to listen to this
| |
still can't get much into anything as much as and then nothing turned itself inside-out, but that might just be because that album is near flawless
| |
i dont really get the same vibe off their other albums/or this, which i shouldnt really care about except that i foolishly expect that one (nightime) thing from them
| |
and then nothing... to me is very very intimate, and only interrupted in atmosphere by cherry chapstick. i liked them in that one set atmosphere.
| |
will put my hand up and admit i havent really paid attention to the lyrics so far. "if its true" is my favourite from another listen
| |
The opening bass line on 'If its true' makes me think of a particular song from the 60's or some sort of old R & B(motown) . I just can't think exactly what song.
| |
the last song on this is so awesome
| |
and the glitter is gone is so aweosme. ESPECIALLY the pitchfork rooftop rendition, oh man.
