The Dreadful Hours, The Angel and the Dark River, A Line of Deathless Kings, and Like Gods of the Sun in that order.

I need to hear those too, minus A Line of Deathless Kings.

Yes you do, especially if you thought As the Flower Withers was that good.

I rated As the Flower Withers a 2.5 though lol. Not really good at all.

Ah, okay. Then you really haven't experienced the true MDB. Get on it.

I'm actually liking this quite a bit, perhaps more so than Deathless Kings.

another great review Willie! I've never really cared to look into this band (maybe cuz I didn't know much about them) but I think that I should check this album out. Vocals are a very important aspect in the music for me but if you say that the instrumental work is pretty awesome than I think that i'll take my chances with this one. Will see if this appeals to me or not.

I'll follow the zoo's rec's too, but I still want to check this particular album out. Dunno, just seems cool. i will check the others out though even if I turn out disliking this.

This is probably the best one they've put out since The Dreadful Hours. Not that ALODK was bad by any means (Songs of Darkness was, though), this one just seems to have a little bit more life, almost.

Bass player is a cutie with that almost full sleeve. Will myspace this although I was never quite a fan of this band, the violin factor holds my interest.

The new violin player is a lot hotter (I don't know if she has any tattoos though). I enjoy this, but the lack of growls bothers me and I can't get passed it yet.

Tried to download this AND Heartwork and neither one worked. Gonna try and clear some disk space on my computer and try again later.

just downloading this album...Its going to be interesting to hear them without Death growls. I doubt this beats the dreadful hours
