i dunno, i still think its got more to it than pop punk, sure theyre no sigur ros, but thats never what theyre aiming for.

personally i think they excel at the indie-pop/pop-rock sound they seem to work towards

But you can't deny solid songwriting, the flow on the album is absolutely stunning. Give it a few more listens

Last album was really boring. I loved the Medicine one though "When Paula Sparks" was an amazing song. I'll check this out and maybe steal a golden track or two

I don't know how Aaron Marsh comes up with some of the melodies he does.

Really beautiful CD. If you don't find the beauty in the songwriting immediately I'd suggest a few more listens.

I seriously have never liked Copeland, simply because I always took em for producing nothing but boring emo piano rock. Boy this album proved me wrong, this is seriously near the top of my album of the year list. If you only have the patience to check out one song from this band make it "Good Morning Fire Eater." This song seriously makes my day every morning I walk to class. Oh, and the guest vocals on "On the Safest Ledge", "The Day I Lost My Voice", and "Not So Tough Found Out" are outstanding.
