I do agree with your points of repetition and a noticeable lack of chemistry in some points but think this is a bit better then you give it credit for. Regardless I think if this band sticks with this style and further develops it they can really do big things in the scene.

Why give a band credit when they pretty much let Jonny turn them into Dance Emarosa Dance?

You're probably right, that's most likely why the old singer left, he wanted to go a more metal/hardcore route.

This is a much better route for Johnny, he can stand out more without having to share the vocal output with an absolutely horrendous screamer.

he's got a good voice, but he doesnt do much with it. or maybe thats just the disconnect between the preconceived music and the new vocals.

I agree he didn't really record them. But I think he kind of recorded them. But not really. You know what I mean? This Message Edited On 07.11.08

^Relax! We're friends! We both like Pokemon! Well, of course, I like it in a lame, ironic, trendy scenester sense and you probably actually like it, but that's something. And we both consider TBS a favorite band.

Meh fuck it I hate you. This Message Edited On 07.11.08

Just heard these guys. It was the definition of alright. Guy needs to learn to control his voice better.

SO is this worth listening to for Johnny Craig's vocals? I loved them in Dance Gavin Dance.

EDIT: meh. This turned out to be really average as was expected from reading the reviews and comments on here. 2.5 - 3 for me.

This is a really good album once you get into it. With the first few listens I couldn't really pick out any standout features, but after ignoring it for a few weeks and coming back to it, the briliance really began to come to the forefront.

took me a LOT of listening to get into this. I was disappointed at first but now I really enjoy this album.
