Living in Canada = shit music selection unless you live in one of our major urban centres. Which is about 5!

Just ordered it on Amazon.ca!This Message Edited On 07.26.08

Shit. Sometimes I forget that this site is very multi-national.

Hahahahahaha it easy to forget about Canada, all tucked away down there.

Speaking of these guys, I recently purchased No Exit. Unfortunately, I have a pile of other albums to go through before I get to that one. Stay tuned for a potential review..................

A reason I might do that review is because I feel I need to challenge myself a bit. If you look at my reviews, they are pretty typical to how my ratings are. These guys just seem out of my league.

No Exit is their 2nd best, IMO.

I need to challenge myself as well. I have fallen into a rut.

I think No Exit is near the lower-middle of their releases as far as quality goes

the orginal drummer of this group is Steve Zimmerman. HAHAHA that's my dad's name. i guess it's not that weird since both are kinda common names. but i play drums. hmm....

There's a second disc of demos and a third disc of live stuff on this one that was worth mentioning. Also, the sound is improved enough to warrent its own review.

It depends. If you like this album with this vocalist than you should try A Plesant Shade of Grey. If you want to go a little more old school than go for "Awaken the Guardian" (with different vocalist, but considered their peak by most, and totally annoying by everyone else).

would you fall in the totally annoying or peak category?

I'd fall in the "peak for John Arch" category (John Arch being their first vocalist). I personally think this is their peak and "Awaken the Guardian" is second or third (Depending on my mood). I have a soft spot for "Parallels" because it's the first one I heard.

I think the orig has decent qaulity. It was 1989 and a smaller band ya know.

Oh yeah, I know. I have the original on Vinyl as well as CD. I mainly bought this for the live DVD and demos but the revamped sound is worth getting it again because the drums are crisper and the bass is sharp (Two big elements on this album).
