Eh, The Final Chapter isn't all that great. Plus if he doesn't like the Hypocrisy style there's a chance he won't like The Arrival either (depends how much you like aliens)

I still like the original version but this was awesome as well. It sounds like it is mixed with The Final Chapter (or Virus).

Virus
Abducted
The Final Chapter

Abducted is overrated. Virus is their best, then The Final Chapter and their self-titled.

No, it really is one of their most solid all around. The only track I don't particularly care for is "Lies," everything else rules. Plus Adjusting The Sun is my favorite Hypocrisy song.

Yeah it is. The whole song just works for me. I suppose Elastic Inverted Vision, Fusion Programmed Minds, and Warpath are close though.

Well, I finally got Abducted a few weeks ago and it is ok. I'll try the self titled one now. As for this, I still don't think the bad production was this album's only flaw (in fact I think it's one of the least of their worries)

I've never really listened to this genre before(as far as going out to buy a full album) but I got this. The vocalist is out of his fucking mind. He's amazing, among the best I've ever heard. However, the instrumentation is so bland it's embarrassing...especially the drumming. The instruments do what they're supposed to, but this band really would be screwed if it wasn't for the vocalist.
I'm just curious...are most albums within the genre like this? As far as the instruments go that is.
