Really digging Saturn, Jupitar, and Mars right now. I played Mars in high school and didn't realize it.
My taste is so much better now.. I mean I liked it then, but if it were me now I'd freak.

We played Jupiter in my high school band. I love Holst.

Yeah, Mars is great. Jupiter is pretty excellent too, and the fade out of the women's choir at the end of Neptune is such a perfect way to end the suite.

I've only listened to this one, and definitely need more to fully experience it, but I can already see this becoming one of my 20th century/classical classics.

Is there anybody that actually hates Mars and/or Jupiter?

so is this review/album just a representation of the composition itself and not a specific rendition? since it's been played by a million different orchestras
