Not that I care anyway, because this album sucks. Bad.

Lip Gloss and Black was a kickass song.

This album is much better than The Curse. In fact, I like the the last song on it, Lip Gloss and Black. This album is ok in my opinion, nothing amazing.

I will firsthand admit I liked this album thoroughly as it contains their only few good songs. It isn't the godawful garbage that "The Curse" was and stands to be some great introductory, if simplistic metalcore. Lip Gloss and Black is absolutely amazing, and all the songs range from passable to pretty good.

I gave it a slightly higher rating so that it wouldn't get such an unfairly low score because there are loads of prejudiced people. TBH, this is a 3.5/5 album for me. Still too many misses from making it a great album.

It scores two points for lip gloss and black alone though. That is easily the best song of their career and one of my favorite metalcore songs, if not the most loved. Awesome intro, awesome piano interlude, decent song structure, great switch between clean and harsh vocals and a melodic solo to end the song.

why is everyone trashing these guys?...atreyu pioneers of a genre and they are one of the most talented bands of the age...the pummeling ryhthms arent for evryone but seriously...atreyu own post-hardcore..they fall second only to norma jean...and maybe poison the well...but they deserve more credit than i doubt they will ever recieve

Atreyu never pioneer anything... excepts probably for the whole fashioncore thing.. Although i think eighteen visions should claim the title for that...

Quite fucking the thread up with this crap, you don't like Atreyu we get. You don't have to make a point every two hours about how this band is talentless and terrible.

come on tulip are better is pretty cool I love the metaphor that alex uses to compare the tulips and the roses with a woman, is very great ..... the lyrics is also very poetic and pretty...well done!

No, they deserve the credit they get. The talent they have is nothing more then potential and IMO ALex brings the entire band down several notches. Also, even if tehy are talented, they are extremly unoriginal and IMO boring as hell

atreyu is an amazing band even if they are emo a little bit withch they really arent the lyrics are the only think kinda emotional and the lyrics like the music is fluid and beautiful and if you think this is to boring then you need to go find a rinocorouse and let it scream in youre ear because this is an amazing album i would give it a 5 out of 5 my opinion though and i really donbt care what you guys say but this tard should get his facts straight
