Yo someone hook me up with the Japanese/Australian bonus track plzzzzzzz
Album is really amazing, dunno how I missed out on this review back then. I'm not giving this a 5 though, because I'm absolutely confident that their next album will be even better.

^ When's that coming out? And I'll be looking for these bonus tracks now D=

If you don't like this, you probably hate breasts too.
But I talked to Trevor last and he said they were shooting to be back at the Blasting Room by December. So I'd expect it to be done by mid january and out by May or June.

Well considering the band tours like fucking demons, two years in between records is pretty acceptable unlike some of their peers COUGHPROPAGANDHICOUGH.

Ooops, you spilt your Haterade brah. Propagandhi's will fucking rip I assure you.

i'd be surprised if it's better than this. i find myself liking about half of the songs on propagandhi albums a lot, and thinking the rest are kinda meh. they tend to let the politics get in the way of the music - like cramming too many words into each line just so they can fit in a particular slogan etc.
in short AWS > Propagandhi
|
| |
if it's better than CS particularly it would be odd, but that doesn't mean it won't
fucking rip.

solid album throughout. 'showbiz' 'get mad' 'die while we're young' 'dead streets' and 'debts and booze' get me pumped for a night of heavy drinking! This Message Edited On 07.26.08

in short AWS > Propagandhi
Nah. Today's Empires, Tomorrow's Ashes rips anal cavities everywhere, and Career Suicide (and AWS in general) owes a lot to Propagandhi and their aforementioned record. Prop has never put out a bad record ever, and everything from Less Talk, More Rock on is gold. But comparing AWS and Prop is like comparing granny smiths to macintosh apples. Still awesome in every way.

This would've so easily got on my 07 list if I had bothered to look into it by that time. So good.

and everything from Less Talk, More Rock on is gold. why is HTCE so overlooked?
one of my friends keeps bugging me for this album, he wants to learn to play most of the songs because "he wants a challenge."

why is HTCE so overlooked?
Because it sounds exactly like a NOFX record, like many of the Epitaph/Fat Wreck albums of that time. Less Talk, More Rock is when they started to branch off that sound a bit more, but they didn't really hit their stride until Today's Empires.
