I agree 100% with nothing being new or original about this, but disagree with everything else. It's an excellent deathcore record.

This review feels alot more refined than the other one TBH. I like straight to the point somtimes.
Checking out a song or two from this album right now.

It seems like the last two "paragraphs" could easily be reduced to a sentence and give the feeling of a rant to people.

It also really seems like there's about one paragraph of actually reviewing the album and not just saying "it sucks," so it looks like it would just make a great soundoff. This Message Edited On 01.31.08

I think the lead guitars are tooo good to call this mediocre, and I love the keyboards they used. I think its one of the better bands of using the keyboards in this -core world.

its mediocre because its all been done before and theres not even a defining element to the band and except maybe their inability to comprehend the importance of transitions and the vocalists mediocre voice

Bleeding through, you can hardly here the keyboards, and are in no way deathcore. I know its not revolutionary, its just a slight change of things useing the keyboards like they do. The lead guitar player and the keyboardist really seem to have good chemistry.

Random throw-in question:

"Does every band has to be ground breaking new, or is it enough for a band to be good at what they do and display a good representation of a genre, even though parts or all has been heard before? Is this difference between groundbreaking new and solid the thing that seperates the excellent bands from the good?"

Its already out, it got released a week before they expected. They sent out all there pre-orders a weak early, or pushed the date forward or something.

this made me laugh. i completely agree. it isnt groundbreaking or creative. hardcore, metalcore, deathcore, symphonic blackened deathcore, call it what you want, its just the next step for faggy hardcore kids trying to prove how tough they are by listening to shitty music with chords thicker than fear factorys anus.

as opposed to the idiot black Metal cults that wear face paint like Kiss with there plastic spikes, that worship any obsure poorly produced black metal they can lay there ears on...

I didn't think this album was too bad. They do tend to get cliche with all the synchronized yelling and this gem from Reloaded:
"TONIGHT...THE WORLD...IS...OURS...WHAT THE FUCK IS UP MOTHERFUCKERS, THIS IS WINDS OF PLAGUE ON THAT 2008 SHIT"
