72haha72,
Glad to see you've come along way in the post metal genre in a short amount of time. Props!

I never bothered to try playing the two CDs together, but it's an utterly captivating experience. So wonderfully dense.

hahaha, thanks, well I owe it to a Given to the Rising review I read some time ago :D
Most of post-metal is really a dense/captivating experience, but this album is something else. It is my favorite post-metal album, tied with A Sun That Never Sets by NeurosisThis Message Edited On 09.26.08

YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO PLAY BOTH CDS AT THE SAME TIME FUCKKKKKK!~
|
| |
So this is incredible, much different to Neurosis and Isis.
|
| |
one word. immense
|
| |
idk i was thinking more 'breathtaking'
|
| |
i should really listen to this more. I used to have both CDs burned on to one for easy listening but i lost it.
|
| |
It's a bit daunting I guess because it's nearly 115 minutes of music.

& JUST TEN SONGS
|
| |
Playing them together is much better I hasten to add - the combination of the discs to create the 5 songs as they're meant to be but it's not always possible.
|
| |
might be the best post metal album but isis makes things too difficult to choose.
|
| |
NO THIS IS THE BEST
|
| |
no. yesterday i listened to it together where i ripped it to cd and i'm currently listening one after the other. might not be enough plays to justify a 5 but idc this is incredible and if i have to adjust my rating in the future i will.
|
| |
pretty much
|
| |
yea this is really good, don't give it enough listens though
might do so now
