It was hard to listen to this after loving Underoath for so long (Mostly the older albums: Act Of Depression, Cries Of The Past). Aaron has a good voice but this was just not a very good album by my standards, however biased I may be.

aaron is an amazing musician but this album could have been a lot better.

Umm, they have a new one coming out this year. That one will probably have the necessary progression but this one has like three good songs.

I might check this out, I do like his cleans though.

totally forgot how awesome of an opener 'say this sooner' is until this record came on shuffle.
the rest of it is pretty vanilla though

Just stumbled on this cd after a long time. The singer's voice and the band's sound in general capture a "summer" feeling very well. There are actually some really amazing hooks to be found here, and the drumming is stellar.
Some people will probably run the other way since it's a christian band, but /shrug it's entertaining, plus the blatantly christian lyrics are only forreal in 2 songs. I didn't like their followup cd though.
rec'd tracks - Everyone Here Smells Like A Rat, Say This Sooner, although they're all pretty solid

Forgot this project even existed. Never checked it out because I didn't think Aaron could carry an album, I like his voice but not as much as most people seem to
